In May of 2007, Connecticut Housing Partners completed renovations of Conger House, one of Washington Park’s oldest and most stately homes. The 8-unit complex provides permanent supportive housing with services for 16 individuals with special needs. Supportive services, provided by Catholic Charities, include 24-hour site staffing, intensive case management and counseling services available throughout the day.
Conger House was financed through HUD Supportive Housing Program Funds, City of Bridgeport HOME dollars, NeighborWorks America funds. Community Capital Fund provided construction and permanent financing.
